Danella Rugile has over a decade of experience in litigation, with a particular focus on complex financial disputes involving asset division and support.

She has guided clients through every phase of litigation—from initial consultation to trial—and developed extensive experience in legal research, negotiation, and strategic case planning.  

While Danella is well-versed in courtroom advocacy, her primary focus is helping clients avoid litigation, when possible, through thoughtful preparation, strong negotiation, and clear communication. She is known for her strategic, empathetic approach and her commitment to resolving disputes in a practical, cost-effective manner.

Before joining MVPF, Danella built a robust family law practice representing clients in matters involving child and spousal support, property division, custody disputes, and domestic violence restraining orders.  She also served as court-appointed counsel for minor children in contested custody matters, gaining valuable experience working in high-conflict cases.

Danella earned her J.D. from Santa Clara University School of Law, where she was awarded the Emery Merit Scholarship and the Gerald Moore Scholarship for International Human Rights. Early in her career, she volunteered with the Pro Bono Project of Silicon Valley and the Family Justice Center, providing legal support to survivors of domestic violence.
