Augustus Tabor III is a civil trial attorney with extensive experience serving clients in a variety of industries, including insurance; transportation and logistics; general contractors; retail services companies; and finance companies. He has a proven track record of successfully defending clients in personal injury lawsuits alleging catastrophic injuries; and stakeholders in the automotive industry- including car dealerships, car manufacturers, and automobile finance companies- against myriad types of claims. There is no case where the stakes are too high, or legal issues too complex, for Augustus to embrace the challenge and deliver superior results.

Augustus honed his analytic abilities dealing with complex matters such as claims arising under the Consumers Legal Remedies Act, Unfair Competition Law, as well as the Song-Beverly and Magnusson-Moss Warranty Acts. He has developed novel legal theories to defend his clients and takes pride in his written and oral advocacy. With his background as a former nationally ranked chess player, Augustus strives to achieve superior results for his clients and pushes himself to excel in all the cases he handles.

Mr. Tabor also takes pride in his ability to efficiently obtain and accurately analyze operative facts, allowing he and the client to mutually agree on a litigation plan to bring a case to a favorable conclusion or prepare it for trial. As a second-generation attorney, and a born-and-raised Midwesterner, Augustus’ approach is to save his clients’ their time and money. Augustus is licensed in California and his home state of Indiana.

Mr. Tabor obtained a B.S. in finance at the Indiana University Kelley School of Business, a top 10 business school in the country during his tenure. Mr. Tabor was then awarded a merit scholarship to attend Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law, where he obtained his J.D. Mr. Tabor graduated law school with certificates of excellence in the areas of commercial law, corporate law, and advocacy. He also received Dean’s List Honors multiple semesters of law school. Upon graduating law school, Mr. Tabor was given the Norman Lefstein Award for his significant pro bono legal work throughout his time in law school for persons who lacked financial means to obtain legal representation.
