Danella Rugile has over a decade of experience in litigation, with a particular focus on complex financial disputes involving asset division. She has guided clients through every phase of litigation—from initial consultation to trial—and developed extensive experience in legal research, negotiation, and strategic case planning.

While Danella is well-versed in courtroom advocacy, she prides herself in helping clients expeditiously and cost-effectively resolve litigated matters. She uses an approach combining thorough and thoughtful early case evaluation, preparation of a comprehensive litigation plan, and her superior negotiation skills, to achieve results that benefit her clients.

Danella believes in clear communication with clients and couples her strategic approach with a commitment to resolving disputes in practical and cost-effective manners.

 

Experience 

Before joining MVPF, Danella built a robust family law practice that she managed for a decade. She represented clients in high net worth divorces, which involved litigating complex financial matters as well as all other issues attendant to family law. She has experience with all manner of litigation, including the analysis of complex records, cross-examining expert witnesses, and taking cases to trial.

Danella also served as a court-appointed counsel for minor children in contested custody matters, gaining valuable experience working in high-conflict cases.

Danella earned her J.D. from Santa Clara University School of Law, where she was awarded the Emery Merit Scholarship and the Gerald Moore Scholarship for International Human Rights. Early in her career, she volunteered with the Pro Bono Project of Silicon Valley and the Family Justice Center, providing legal support to survivors of domestic violence.
